Power Efficiency Corp. Appears On Fox 5 Vegas
And In The Las Vegas Sun

Favorable Media Coverage Follows Roundtable Discussion With Congresswoman Dina Titus (D-NV) At Company Headquarters

LAS VEGAS, NV, September 8, 2009—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Power Efficiency Corporation (OTCBB: PEFF - News), a clean tech company focused on energy efficiency technologies for electric motors, recently appeared on Fox 5 Vegas and in the pages of the Las Vegas Sun. This positive media coverage followed a recent visit from Congresswoman Dina Titus (D-NV), who toured the company headquarters and engaged in a roundtable discussion with PEFF and other local clean energy businesses on Thursday, August 27, 2009.

The Las Vegas Sun article, written by Stephanie Tavares and published Thursday, September 3, 2009, took the form of “six questions” for Steve Strasser, CEO and Chairman of Power Efficiency Corp. “Steve Strasser is positioned to be at the center of Nevada’s greener energy future, but he isn’t in the solar or wind power business,” the article begins. “His Power Efficiency Corp. designs and builds electronic sensing equipment that makes motors use electricity more efficiently. His products are doing that in escalators and conveyor belt systems across the country.”

Similarly, the Fox 5 News segment spotlighted PEFF’s technology, which has the capacity of providing energy savings of up to 35% per appliance. “It will lead by example,” Congresswoman Titus says in the news segment. “There are a lot of government buildings with light bulbs that can be changed, with flat roofs that can put solar panels, and with escalators that can benefit from this kind of technology that saves energy.”

“We were delighted to meet with Representative Titus and other local sustainability leaders, and honored to host this panel discussion on the future of energy efficiency,” says Steven Strasser, Power Efficiency’s Chairman and CEO. “We are equally pleased to see this event generate media coverage of this caliber. Communicating the story to different audiences is a vital part of the job.”
